If you have gone on a vacation to Florida at some point in your life, chances are you were going to Orlando. The city consistently ranks among the top ten tourist destinations for Americans each year due to a robust amusement park and entertainment industry. In 2010 alone, Orlando hosted over 48 million visitors, 12% of which were from abroad. The reason for these staggering numbers is due mainly to the fact within this city is the largest theme park in the world: Walt Disney World. This resort offers four different amusement parks, two water parks, golf courses, and many hotels to choose from. Some other notable points of interest are Gatorland, known as the “Alligator Capital of the World”, and Seaworld, an amusement park popular for its focus on marine life. Average home values in Orlando, Florida have remained steady with national averages, and the volume of sales has seen consistent increase over the past years. Estimates state that a majority of residences rent homes in Orlando, Florida, some list their presence at over 50%.
